Kamir, Office Manager
Hi, I'm Kamir Mena and I am the office manager for the Doctors since 2010. I've been in the dental field since 2007 and have been with Advanced Dental Center since 2010. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic I also speak Spanish. I came to the USA years ago and even though I miss the beautiful weather from my home, I like it here too. I'm the person to speak to if you have any questions about office policy, financial arrangements or insurance matters. I think I can resolve most any administrative problems you may have.

I strive to provide all of the needs our patients require to feel comfortable and secure. The office has all of the up-to-date equipment needed to cater to the needs of our patients. Advanced Dental Center and Drs. Gabin and Pincus will make you feel as comfortable as I do here. .If any problems do occur, I will try to help you resolve them any way I can. My name is Carol and I am a registered dental hygienist. I joined the practice in May 1980. What I most enjoy about my job is helping patients achieve healthier teeth and gums. Also, working in a family practice has been rewarding because of the personal relationships that I have had with my patients and co-workers through the years. When I am not working, I love going to the gym and doing either strength training or yoga. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and our children and grandchildren.
I am the original Jersey girl born and bred and proud of it. I am also a lifetime member of WeightWatchers and am always willing to share my experience.
I'm Mei Chen Dunlop and as one of Advanced Dental Center's hygienists I've traveled the farthest to come here. Originally from China, I moved to Canada over 15 years ago. There I met my husband and also studied to become a dental hygienist. My husband's job brought us to New Jersey and I worked for a periodontist before joining Drs. Gabin and Pincus. I love working with everyone here and I've gotton to know our patients after all my years here. Caring and teaching so you can keep your teeth and gums healthy gives me pleasure. I can also speak mandarin and cantonese.
My name is Karen and I have been dental hygienist since 1995. I graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1990 and my certificate in Dental Hygiene from Bergen Community College 5 years later. My top priority is helping each of our patients at Advanced Dental Center achieve and maintain a beautiful and healthy smile.
Lena, Dental Assistant
Lena is my name and I've been dental assisting for 23 years. First trained in my native Slovenia, after coming to the US, I've worked here since 1989. I'm a registered Certified dental assistant. My husband and I live in Alpine. We've raised two sons, one is an attorney and our other son is on his way to medical school. While working here, the ability to use the most advanced and new techniques and equipment have given me the opportunity to do everything my experience and ability allows. This has given me great satisfaction. I love people and enjoy talking to everyone. I couldn't have stayed at a job for so long if I didn't love what I do and the people I work with. At home with my husband I love to garden, cook, bake, and take care of the house and family. At lunch time I'm known to walk all over town here in Secaucus. I can speak Slovenian and Croatian.
Angela, Dental Assistant
Hi – I'm Angela and I've been dental assisting for 14 years and been here with Advanced Dental Center for the past 11 years, I can't imagine working anywhere else. The doctors keep me updated with the latest information and new technology because we are constantly adding new things. The staff teamwork makes each of us part of a whole so we work smoothly. Helping our doctors help our patients and listening to them about their work and family makes me feel almost like family to them. I "recently"started a family of my own but kids grow quickly. Dane is almost 7 and Jade almost 4, and of course my other 'children', my 3 pet cats. I grew up Palisades Park, NJ, and now live in Lyndhurst. I enjoy watching movies, reading, hiking, and camping, I'm clean crazy and work for animal welfare and recycle everything.
Joe, Dental Assistant
Hello, I'm Josephine (Jo). I've been dental assisting for 25 years and have been with Advanced Dental Center for the last 2 years. I love what I do and I'm a real people person and team player. Over the years working as a dental assistant I've met so many wonderful people. Originally from the Philippines, I've worked in the west and the east and still maintain contact with most of my old workmates. Since starting with the Doctors here I've been introduced to much new technology that they have incorporated in their office. This too has been very rewarding.
