Meet the Dentists
Paul S. Gabin, DMD FAGD
From childhood Dr. Gabin always wanted to be a dentist. He loved the idea of fixing things and helping people and the challenge of figuring out the problem and finding the solution. Born in Bayonne, Dr. Gabin attended Temple University and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He served 2 years in the Air Force as a general dental officer. He was additionally trained in oral surgery at Wilford Hall Air Force Hospital and served as the base oral surgeon at Kelly AFB for 9 months. Dr. Gabin spent the remaining time rotating in the other dental specialties. Following the Air Force, Dr. Gabin returned to his home state of NJ and entered private practice. Secaucus has been his practice home since 1976. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Gabin has served on the State Dental Society Council on Dental Education and has presented clinics at the NJDA annual meeting in cosmetic dentistry. He has taught graduate dentists at the Jersey City Medical Center. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing golf and traveling.
When asked if there is any thing else he would rather do his answer is, " After more than 35 years of being a dentist, if I won the lottery I would still practice dentistry but as a hobby."
Gerald J. Pincus, DMD FAGD
Dr. Pincus attended Brooklyn College and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating Tufts he practiced with a number of highly experienced dentists in New York City. In 1977 he joined Dr. Gabin in practice in Secaucus.
Dr. Pincus is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed over 1000 hours of postgraduate continuing education. Many of these hours are focused on cosmetic, restorative, and implant techniques.
On a personal note, Dr. Pincus enjoys spending time with his wife, Janet, his two daughters, Lauren and Melanie, and, of course, his Portuguese Water Dog, Sasha. In November 2008, he greeted his new grandson, Gilles. Always one who has enjoyed working with his hands, on weekends he often can be found doing his own major home improvement projects. When he is not doing quality dentistry for his patients, he enjoys golf, skiing, and photography.
Both Drs. Gabin and Pincus have been named in "Guide to America's Top Dentists".
