Angela
Hi – I'm Angela and I've been dental assisting for 14 years and been here with Drs. Gabin and Pincus for the past 11 years, I can't imagine working anywhere else. The doctors keep me updated with the latest information and new technology because we are constantly adding new things. The staff teamwork makes each of us part of a whole so we work smoothly. Helping our doctors help our patients and listening to them about their work and family makes me feel almost like family to them. I recently started a family of my own with my new son, Dane, almost 2 years old and of course my older 'children', my 3 pet cats. I grew up Palisades Park, NJ, and now live in Lyndhurst. I enjoy watching movies, reading, hiking, and camping, I'm clean crazy and work for animal welfare and recycle everything.
Carol
My name is Carol and I am a registered dental hygienist. I joined the practice in May 1980. What I most enjoy about my job is helping patients achieve healthier teeth and gums. Also, working in a family practice has been rewarding because of the personal relationships that I have had with my patients and co-workers through the years. When I am not working, I love going to the gym and doing either strength training or yoga. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and our children and grandchildren.
I am the original Jersey girl born and bred and proud of it. I am also a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and am always willing to share my experience.
Lena
Lena is my name and I've been dental assisting for 23 years, first trained in my native Slovenia, and after coming to the US, I've worked here since 1989. My husband and I live in Alpine. We've raised two sons, one ready for law school and our other still in college. While working here, the ability to use the most advanced and new techniques and equipment and being given the opportunity to do everything my experience and ability allows gives me great satisfaction. I love people and enjoy talking to everyone. I couldn't have stayed at a job for so long if I didn't love what I do and the people I work with. At home with my husband I love to garden, cook, bake, and take care of the house and family. At lunch time I'm known to walk all over town here in Secaucus. I can speak Slovenian and Croatian.
Lori
Hello, my name is Lori Trianor and I'm the office manager for Drs. Gabin and Pincus. I've been here for 27 years so I'm the go-to person for any question or problem a patient might encounter, whether it's scheduling or billing or insurance or even the temperature in the reception area, I know or can find the answer for you. I love my ability to solve almost any problem for any patient. I'm active in my church and the MS society charity. I've lived most of my life right here in Secaucus.
Luiza
Hi, my name is Luiza and I'm one of the receptionists at our office. Drs. Gabin and Pincus trained me for this job and I've worked here for 6 years. I work hard trying to help patients on the phone and in person find the best times for their appointments and help them with their financial arrangements. I also work to help in negotiating the sometimes confusing insurance questions that come up between patients and their insurance companies. I live in Union City and am fluent in Spanish. My two children are in school, 1 in high school and 1 in college. I enjoy power-walking and exercise, Spanish soap operas, broadway musicals, and raising money by participating in Walks for donations. By the way, if anyone knows Derek Jeter on the Yankees, give him my phone number.
Mei
I'm Mei Chen Dunlop and as one of Drs. Gabin and Pincus's hygienists I've traveled the farthest to come here. Originally from China, I moved to Canada over 15 years ago. There I met my husband and also studied to become a dental hygienist. My husband's job brought us to New Jersey and I worked for a periodontist before joining Drs. Gabin and Pincus. I love working with everyone here and I've gotton to know our patients after the years here. Caring and teaching so you can keep your teeth and gums healthy gives me pleasure.
Theresa
Hello, my name is Theresa and I'm one of the doctors' dental assistants. Originally I'm from Cape Cod, Mass. I became a dental assistant in Boston about 6 years ago and moved to NJ 2 years later. I've worked for Drs. Gabin and Pincus for 4 years and like the interaction I have with our patients most of all. In my off time I love to do home improvements and working with all kinds of tools. I walk to raise money for breast cancer and MS. The environment is one of my biggest concerns, and I'm constantly looking for ways to be more 'green' and read as much as I can about the enviroment (canvas not plastic and recycle everything). I love watching baseball (I am a very BIG Red Soxs fan (sorry Yankees and Mets)) and hanging our with my cat, Duff, who loves to play and shed all over everything
